Leanne Maxwell on ABC's "Lucky 7"

A Gemini Award nominee for her guest turn on "Murdoch Mysteries" as a multiple personality killer, Anastasia Phillips studied theatre and philosophy at the University of British Columbia. During this time, her acting career was launched in the title role of "The Diary of Anne Frank," which garnered her a Jessie Award nomination for Best Actress.

From there Phillips worked on stages across Canada, including the Citadel's production of "Equus" and the Vancouver premiere of Morwyn Brebner's "The Optimists." She also toured with the Electric Company's award-winning production of "Studies of Motion."

Phillips moved into film and television when she was cast as a lead in the series "MVP."
A number of television and feature film projects followed, including the film "Nonsense Revolution," produced by Thom Fitzgerald, "Murdoch Mysteries," "Blue Mountain State" and others. She later joined the cast of "Skins" for MTV, and voiced the character of Lo on the animated series "Stoked." Most recently Phillips completed the second and final season of the Shaw/Global TV Series, "Bomb Girls," alongside Meg Tilly. Picked up by Reelz Channel, the series has been nominated across categories everywhere from the Canadian Screen Awards and Leo Awards to the Banff World Film Festival Awards, culminating in a win at the Gracie Allen Awards.
