Hannah Montana

JASON EARLES
"Jackson Stewart"

Jason Earles stars as Miley's older brother Jackson, who uses his connection with Hannah Montana as leverage to get what he wants, in the Emmy-nominated Disney Channel Original Series "Hannah Montana."

Born in San Diego on April 26, Earles lived in Ohio and Washington before his family settled in Portland, Oregon.  The middle of four brothers and a sister, Earles gravitated towards acting as a way to stand out from his siblings.  He started in the third grade production of "Hansel & Gretel," and from there, starred in various school, community and summer theatre productions.  After high school, Earles toured with the Montana Shakespeare in the Park theatre group before moving to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career.

On television, he had a recurring role on Disney Channel's "Phil of the Future" and guest starred on "The Shield," "One on One," "Still Standing" and "Mad TV."  He also starred in the Disney Channel Original Movie, "Dadnapped" with his "Hannah Montana" co-star Emily Osment.  Earles also appeared in the feature films "National Treasure," "American Pie:  Band Camp" and "Special Ed" as well as numerous stage productions, including "Twelfth Night," "The Tempest," "Pinocchio," "Tom Sawyer" and "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest."  He was recently seen in Walt Disney Pictures' "Hannah Montana: The Movie" feature film starring Miley Cyrus, Billy Ray Cyrus and the "Hannah Montana" cast.

Earles enjoys watching sports, especially baseball and the Seattle Mariners, and is an avid video game player.  He resides in Los Angeles with his two cats, Presley and Timmy.
