Kim Rhodes stars as Carey Martin, the single mom of 12-year-old twins Zack and Cody, who makes her living as The Tipton Hotel's resident lounge singer, on "The Suite Life of Zack & Cody."

Well known to daytime TV fans, Rhodes made her television debut in 1996, portraying Cindy Brooke on "Another World."  After three years on the series, she continued the same role on "As the World Turns" from 2000-01.  Since then, she starred in "The Lot" and guest starred on "Becker," "Without a Trace," "Star Trek:  Voyager" and "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation." 

Rhodes loves the stage and has acted in various plays including several productions of William Shakespeare's work.  She was certified in three types of stage combat:  hand-to-hand, quarterstaff and rapier/dagger.  Currently, she is attempting to learn the violin.

Prior to her acting career, Rhodes spent three years as a veterinarian technician's assistant.

Rhodes was born and raised in Portland, Oregon.  She graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree in acting from Southern Oregon State College.  She went on to earn a Master's of Fine Arts from Temple University.

She resides in Los Angeles with her dog, a mutt named Linus and her husband.  Her birthday is June 7.
