DISNEY-ABC TELEVISION GROUP RECEIVES 54 NOMINATIONS FOR "THE 35TH ANNUAL DAYTIME EMMY® AWARDS"
The Disney-ABC Television Group received 54 nominations for "The 35th Annual Daytime Emmy¨ Awards" announced on ABC's "The View." "One Life to Live" received 13 nominations; "The View" received 11 nominations; "All My Children" received 8 nominations; and "General Hospital" received 6 nominations. "The View" received its 11th consecutive nomination for Outstanding Talk Show and Outstanding Talk Show Host, honoring Barbara Walters, Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Sherri Shepherd. "The 35th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards" will be broadcast live on ABC FRIDAY, JUNE 20, from Hollywood's famed Kodak Theatre at 8:00 p.m., ET/PT (West coast tape delay). This year marks the third time in the ceremony's history the Daytime Emmy telecast will be presented from Hollywood.

HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL: GET IN THE PICTURE (New Title)
Long Beach, CA (April 27, 2008) - Despite triple-digit temperatures, a massive crowd of teens turned out Sunday (April 27) in Long Beach for the first open casting call for ABC's new summer reality series, Disney's "High School Musical: Summer Session" (working title). Teens from as far away as Wisconsin, Texas, Colorado, Utah and Washington were among the throngs who gathered for the open audition. Host Nick Lachey welcomed the crowd as they lined up in front of the Long Beach Arena. The series debuts on ABC on Sunday, July 20 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) and runs Sundays and Mondays (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) for three weeks, then continues Mondays at 8:00 p.m., ET through mid-September.

Preliminary championship rounds will air live earlier in the day on ESPN, which has televised the Bee in its entirety since 1994. ESPN's live telecast (simulcast on ESPN360.com) is scheduled for 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m., ET. ESPN360.com will provide coverage of the quarterfinal rounds from 2:00-5:30 p.m., ET on Thursday, May 29 on ESPN 360.com.
