    Increasing its Total Viewer Count for the 4th Consecutive Week, ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" Draws its Largest Audience Since May and Best Adults 18-49 Rating Since June  

     "JKL" is Up by 10% in Total Viewers Over Same Week Last Year, Posting the Best Year-Over-Year Performance Among the Late-Night Entertainment Shows
     
    With Guests Danny DeVito, Michelle Monaghan and Cold War Kids, "JKL's" Friday Telecast Draws its Largest Audience in Late-Night Since May

    "JKL" Beats CBS' "Ferguson" in Adults 18-49, Men 18-34 and Women 25-54, Defeating the CBS Program for the 6th Straight Week in the Key Women Demo
    Weekly National Ratings:
    During the week of September 8, 2008, ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" was up over the previous week by 3% in Total Viewers (1.62 million vs. 1.57 million) and by 20% in Adults 18-49 (0.6/3 vs. 0.5/2), drawing its largest audience since May and highest young adult rating since June - since w/o 5/19/08 and w/o 6/9/08, respectively.  In addition, it was the 4th consecutive week that "JKL" has posted increases in Total Viewers over the previous week.   

    * "Jimmy Kimmel Live" was up by 10% compared to the same week last year (w/o 09/10/07) in Total Viewers (1.62 million vs. 1.47 million).  In fact, "JKL" was up the most compared to the other entertainment late-night programs' year ago performances: "Carson Daly" (+9%), "Ferguson" (+2%), "Letterman" (-5%), "Leno" (-5%), and "Conan" (-6%).

    * On Friday (9/12/08), featuring Danny DeVito, Michelle Monaghan and musical guests Cold War Kids, "JKL" drew its largest audience (2.14 million) for any "Kimmel" late-night telecast since May - since 5/20/08.   

    * For the week, ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" beat CBS' "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" in Adults 18-49 (0.6/3 vs. 0.5/3), Men 18-34 (0.4/2 vs. 0.3/2) and Women 25-54 (0.8/4 vs. 0.7/4).  In fact, it was the 6th week in a row that "JKL" has beaten "Ferguson" in Women 25-54.
