BOB A. HALL PROMOTED TO PRESIDENT AND GENERAL MANAGER, ABC-OWNED KFSN-TV CHANNEL 30, FRESNO, CALIFORNIA
Bob A. Hall, General Sales Manager at KFSN-TV Fresno, CA since 2004 and a seasoned local TV executive with the ABC Owned Television Stations, has been promoted to President and General Manager of KFSN-TV, effective immediately.

Mr. Hall's appointment to the top position at Fresno's highest-rated television station was announced by Walter Liss, President of the ABC Owned Television Stations, to whom he reports.

"Bob's consistently strong track record most recently in Fresno, along with his extensive local station experience with the ABC Owned Television Stations over the course of more than two decades, made him the ideal candidate for the general manager post at KFSN-TV," Mr. Liss commented. "Under Bob's expert management, we look forward to Channel 30's continuing leadership as the number-one station for quality news and entertainment programming and for community service to viewers in Fresno and the San Joaquin Valley."

As KFSN-TV General Sales Manager prior to this promotion, Mr. Hall was responsible for record-breaking sales which brought Channel 30 its largest share of market revenues in 2005 and to-date in 2006. His keen understanding of sales and marketing, local programming and operations, and, most important, the Fresno/San Joaquin Valley viewing audience, has contributed substantially to KFSN-TV's strong competitive position.

Mr. Hall began his career with the ABC Owned Television Stations in 1983, at WJRT-TV Flint, MI, also now the top-rated station sign-on to sign-off in its market. First hired as a mail and commercial tape coordinator and sales intern, Mr. Hall steadily advanced through research and sales positions of increasing responsibility to become Local Sales Manager at the Flint station before moving to Fresno.

An active participant in various community organizations, Mr. Hall serves as a board member of both the Fresno Chamber of Commerce and Fresno United Neighborhoods. He received a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing from the University of Michigan.

Mr. Hall and his wife, Karen, are the parents of one son.

Mr. Hall succeeds Eric Lerner who left the Fresno market to accept a television station general management position in Seattle.
