T.J. Winick is a Washington, DC based correspondent for ABC NewsOne, the network's affiliate news service. He is also a substitute anchor.

Winick covers news in and around the nation's capital. Currently he is covering the 2008 Presidential campaign, and he reported from the New Hampshire primaries in January and the Republican convention in September. He has also reported on the Utah Mine collapse tragedy and the California Wildfires in 2007 for Newsone.

Before joining ABC News, he worked as a general assignment reporter for WBZ-TV in Boston, covering a range of stories, including the Catholic Church abuse scandal, the Station Nightclub Fire, the Red Sox World Series Title and the Big Dig. From 2000-02 he was a reporter at New England Cable News, also based in Boston. Before that assignment, Winick was a reporter for WTAE-TV in Pittsburgh and also for WBBH-TV in Ft. Myers, Florida. During his career in local news, he reported on the devastating tornadoes in Kissimmee, Florida and Somerset County, Pennsylvania. He has also produced for the History Channel and "America's Most Wanted."

Winick graduated from Colby College in Waterville, Maine with a degree in Government. He is a native of Marblehead, Massachusetts and currently resides in Washington DC.
