SUSIE WYNNE
Figure skating commentator, ABC Sports After competing and performing as a U.S. national champion, both on an Olympic and professional level, Susie Wynne joined ABC Sports as a figure skating commentator in 1999. Wynne, a 1988 Olympic qualifier in ice dancing, made her television debut with Turner Sports in the fall of 1995. She was a member of the "Elvis on Ice" and Nancy Kerrigan's "Halloween on Ice" telecasts. In 1996 Wynne served as a backstage reporter for USA Network's coverage of "Champions on Ice." She served as a commentator for Prime Sports during its coverage of skating's Junior Olympics in April of 1996. She was seen during the 1997-98 skating season on the Fox Sports Network as co-analyst and sideline reporter for the exclusive telecasts of the ISU Championship Series. Wynne appeared as a host and narrator for the "Miracles of Gold" telecast program in Lake Placid, New York in 1997. In 1999 she worked as the color commentator for NBC Sports for Brian Boitano's "Holiday Skating Spectacular." Wynne resides in Lakewood, Illinois with her husband, Tyler Barth. |
