Paul Page, a seventeen-year veteran, serves as the primary host of the ABC's coverage of the Indy Racing League series (IRL). Before joining ABC Sports in 1987, he served for 15 years as the "voice" of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Radio Network for the worldwide broadcast of the 500, and had hosted NBC Sports' auto racing coverage since 1977.

Page hosted ABC Sports' live coverage of the Indianapolis 500 from 1988 to 1998. In 2001 he returned to the broadcast booth to call the Indy 500 alongside analyst Scott Goodyear. His other responsibilities for ABC Sports have included hosting ABC's CART auto racing coverage, the International Race of Champions (IROC) series, and the IRL as various Wide World of Sports events. Page called the play-by-play at the 2004 Indianapolis 500; because of several rain delays, the network's broadcast went 8 l/2 hours, making for some of the longest single-event coverage ever.

In 1977 he hosted auto racing coverage for NBC Sports and also reported on various events and competitions for NBC's "SportsWorld." In 1979 he was the first motorsports broadcaster and producer on ESPN

Not limited to auto racing, in 2003 Page hosted the Americas Cup for ESPN. He also covers Snowcross and Supermoto for ABC/ESPN's X-Games, and the Great Outdoor Games.

Page has won many awards for his new and sports journalism. He hosted the two editions of the Indy 500 that won Emmys for the Best Sports Special. He still finds time in his schedule to speak extensively on auto racing and motivation to groups and organizations around the country.
